Mabilis at maalwan na nakapag-encash ng kanilang tseke ang mahigit sa 500 EBD scholars na tumanggap ng kanilang scholarship allowance mula kina Congressman Marvey Mariño at Mayor Beverley Dimacuha kaninang umaga dahil nasa Mayor’s Action Center (MAC) ang mga empleyado ng Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) para sa proseso ng encashment ng scholarship check.

Inauguration of the Monument of Immaculate Heart of Mary

February 19 was a significant and blessed day for the parishioners of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception as they witnessed the inauguration of the Monument of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in front of the church. Earlier, Mayor Beverley Dimacuha escorted by Cong. Marvey Mariño crowned the Image of our Lady while Ms. Lina Lacsamana placed the rosary on the right hand of the Image as she was escorted by Vice Mayor Jun Berberabe. This ceremony was followed by the concelebrated Mass led by Msgr. Fred Madlangbayan and the procession of the Image around Plaza Mabini. Congressman Mariño and Vice Mayor Berberabe placed our Lady inside the Monument after the procession. The inauguration of the Monument was also attended by Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas and various church organizations.
