2022 Annual Investment Program ng Batangas City, pinagtibay ng City Development Council

May P25 bilyon ang halaga ng mga panukalang programa at proyekto ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Batangas sa susunod na taon ayon sa Annual Investment Program (AIP) for 2022 na tinalakay sa virtual Full Development Council Meeting ng Batangas City Development Council (BCDC), August 27, 2021.

Ayon kay City Planning and Development (CPDO) Officer Januario Godoy, isinama sa nasabing AIP ang mga target projects ng national government upang mabigyan ito ng prayoridad sa 2022. “Hinati ang AIP sa tatlong sektor: General Public Services, Social Services, at Economic Services upang madaling matukoy kung ano-ano ang mga proyekto na kailangan ng agarang pagtugon” sabi ni Godoy.

Kabilang sa General Public ang Executive Services, Legislative Services, Planning and Development Services, Civil Registry, Budgeting, Accounting, Treasury, Real Property Assessment Services, Legal, Prosecutionn at Internal Audit Services. Ito ay may kabuuang P7,470,175,000 piso.

Nasa ilalim naman ng Social Services ang Special Education Fund, Educational Services, Health Services, Social Welfare at Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund. Ito ay may kabuuang P5,980,850,000 piso.

Ang Veterinary and Agricultural Services, Environmental Services, Engineering, Market Administration, Infrastructure Development Program at iba pang mga proyekto ay nasasakop ng Economic Services kung saan may kabuuan ito P12,266,100,000 piso.

P25,717,125,000 piso ang kabuuan ng investment program. Bukod sa presentation ng AIP, tinalakay din sa full council meeting ang Supplemental AIP for CY 2021, ang presentation ng TESDA para sa Philippine Technical Vocational Education and Training System project, City Development Updates, DILG Updates at Batangas City COVID-19 updates.

Ang Batangas City Development Council meeting ay pinangunahan ng council chairman nito na si Mayor Beverley Rose Dimacuha. (PIO Batangas City)
