The 200 Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) grantees in Batangas City receive their salary from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) amountlng to P3,992.34 which is the 40% counterpart of DOLE in their total salary. The grantees already received the P5,998.58 (60%) from the city government last June. These students worked for 22 days in the different city government offices and some private companies from May 2-31,2017. Also in photos are Karl Joseph Sanmocte and Harold Paul Marayan from DOLE and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) staff who manage the said program.
