Batangas City Gov't & MERALCO, Installation of Street Lights

The street lighting project of the city government along the Diversion Road to barangay Calicanto is almost completed with 166 out of 176 streetlights already installed. The city government paid more than P1.8 million to Meralco for the extension of facilities and will pay a monthly flat rate bill for these fixed street lights. Street lighting will also be undertaken along Tingga Itaas, Tingga Labac and Balagtas National highway, P. Hererra to Pallocan and other barangays in line with the thrust of Mayor Beverley Rose Dimacuha and Congressman Marvey Mariño to keep the streets safe and prevent crimes and other untoward incidents at night.
