Another milestone in the history of Batangas City happened this morning, December 21, 2014 - the inauguration and blessing of the P8.9M Pontoon Bridge to alleviate the inconveniences of the commuters affected by the collapse of Calumpang Bridge. Mayor Eddie B. Dimacuha together with his wife, former Mayor Vilma Abaya Dimacuha led the opening ceremonies. Rev. Fr. Diosdado Castillo, Parish Priest of the Basilica Immaculada Concepcion officiated the blessing rites.
