I. Mission:

The City Library provides and promotes open and equal access to quality materials, facilities, programs and services in order to meet the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of all members of the community.

II. Vision:

We envision our library to be a vibrant and dynamic space with substantial resources in all formats utilizing relevant , current and emerging technology effectively and providing innovative programs and services adapted and suited to all age levels.


III. Our Goals and Objectives

Batangas City Library and Information Center aims to :

1. Provide free library services that conforms with the needs of the community.

2 .Develop collection about Batangas City – history, customs, people,
tradition and others

3. Have linkages and develop network among other national agencies, libraries, and groups.

4 Maintain and enhance integrated library system.

5. Strengthen coordination and connection with the community through outreach services.

6. Improve library services through professional development of staff through formal education, seminars/training, workshops and team building.
