City Veterinary Office-Profile

 

I. Mandate

The City Veterinary Office is responsible to formulate measures for approval of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and provide technical assistance to the City Mayor to ensure the delivery of basic services and provision of adequate facilities relative to veterinary services as provided for in Section 17 of the Local Government Code of 1991 and develop plans and strategies and implement the same for veterinary plans and programs.


II. Vision

A flourishing livestock, poultry, and fishery community supported by both the government and private sectors working jointly to achieve a sound and prosperous animal industry.


III. Mission

To provide excellent veterinary services to clienteles by implementing programs that will help eradicate, prevent, and control animal diseases to uphold sustainable production of livestock, poultry, and fishery resources while ensuring public health safety.


IV. Service Pledge

We, the employees of the Batangas City Veterinary Office commit to uphold the sustainability of veterinary services to protect the health of livestock, poultry, and pet animals, while ensuring the protection of public health and promoting the livelihood opportunities of the clienteles without harming the environment.
