Taal Hosts 2014 Ala-Eh Festival

The Batangas City Government represented by Board Member Marvey Marino, Dexter Buted, CENRO Officer Oliver Gonzales and City Tourism Officer Ed Borbon, turned over the Key of Ala Eh Festival to its 2014 host, the Municipality of Taal, represented by Mayor Michael Montenegro and members of Sangguniang Bayan.

The Batangas City Government represented by Board Member Marvey Marino, Dexter Buted, CENRO Officer Oliver Gonzales and City Tourism Officer Ed Borbon, turned over the Key of Ala Eh Festival to its 2014 host, the Municipality of Taal, represented by Mayor Michael Montenegro and members of Sangguniang Bayan.

Batangas City was the 2013 host of the said festival.

Governor Vilma Santos-Recto led the said key turn-over, yesterday at her office.

The Ala Eh Festival which was launched in 2008, celebrates the Founding of the Province of Batangas on December 8. The Ala- Eh Festival is known as the Festival of Festivals of each city and municipality.

On its 7th year, with the theme “Taal Bayang Makasaysayan, Kulturang Taal ng Batangan”, the festival will showcase the richness of culture and heritage of the Province of Batangas.
