Batangas City receives awards from the Bureau of Fire Protection

Mayor Beverley Rose. Dimacuha received a Plaque of Recognition from Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Region IVA for her remarkable support and assistance to Batangas City Fire Station which provided lasting impact in the BFP’s pursuit of a transparent and effective public service while enshrining its vision and mission towards a fire-safe nation by 2034.
The recognition was given during the 28th BFP Anniversary Celebration with the theme, “Journey Towards Transparent and Effective Public Service” held at Biñan People’s Center, Brgy. Zapote, Biñan City, Laguna, August 20.
On the same occasion, the Batangas City Fire Station under the leadership and supervision of City Fire Marshal F/CINSP ELAINE BAYLON-EVANGELISTA, was also awarded a plaque of recognition for being one of the finalists in the “Best City Fire Station” category along with Calamba, San Pedro, and Lucena City.
For Fire Auxiliary Group/Fire Brigade Volunteer Group, those given plaques of recognition are the following:
Triskelion Rescue and Emergency Assistance Team, Phils. Inc. (Treat Phils, Inc.), for its active involvement and partnership with BFP R4-A in assisting Batangas City Fire Station’s emergency response and the conduct of various Oplans to promote public safety.
Emergency Service Corps (ESC) - Boy Scouts of the Philippines Batangas City Council for its active involvement and partnership with BFP R4-A thru the launching of “TULUNGAN PARA SA NASUNUGAN” drive where the proceeds were given to the fire victims in Sitio Talon, Perlas Compound, Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas City.
Batangueños’ Assistance and Social Involvement during Calamities (Project BASIC) for the active involvement and partnership with BFP R4-A in the successful implementation of Emergency and Disaster Response Training for Priests and Church Volunteers.
Non-Government Organization- Atlantic Gulf & Pacific of Manila Company (AG&P Co.) for its donation of one (1) Fire Truck to Batangas City FireStation.
