City Health Office umani ng mga awards

Binigyang pagkilala ang Dental Division at PopCom Division ng City Health Office sa kanilang mga katangi-tanging nagawa sa promotion ng oral health, adolescent health at responsible parenthood.

Ang mga awards na kanilang natanggap ay iprinesenta matapos ang flag ceremony ng mga city government employees nitong December 4.

Napili ang Dental Division bilang Best Performer in Innovative Program and Best Practices sa Region IV-A sa kauna-unahang Oral Health Summit ng Department of Health (DOH) noong November 16.

Nakakuha din sila ng Best Oral Presentation Award sa ginanap na Regional Annual Scientific Conference “in grateful recognition to the contribution made for the improvement of public health through evidence-based research.” Ito ay ibinigay noong October 24 sa Sulo Riviera Hotel sa Diliman, Quezon City.

Pinagkalooban naman ng Commission on Population Region 4 ang Popcom Division ng plaque of recognition dahil sa suportang ipinagkaloob nito sa Adolescent Health and Development(AHD) Program sa pamamagitan ng 2017 Citywide AHD Film Festival na nilahukan ng siyam na secondary schools. Ang awarding ay ginanap noong November 21 sa 2017 Regional Adolescent Health and Development Film Festival na ginanap sa Olivarez College.

Naging Best Performing City din ang Batangas City dahilan sa malaking kontribusyon ng PopCom Division sa implementasyon ng Philippine Population Management Program(PPMP) at Responsible Parenting Family Plan(RPFP)” ng komisyon.

Best Implementer din sila ng Men’s Responsibility Gender and Development Kalalakihan Tapat sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon sa Pamilya o MR GAD KATROPA activity.

Nagkamit din ang CHO ng plaque of recognition mula sa provincial government sa pagiging “2nd Outstanding City of Batangas province and for their exemplary performance, best practices, good governance and bringing responsive services to their constituents base in the LGU scorecard and in accordance with RA 7719 o National Blood Service Act of 1994.” May 1,270 bags ng dugo o 571,500 cc ang kabuuang bilang ng dugong naipagkaloob ng Batangas City.

Tumanggap din sila ng special award dahil sa malaking suporta nito sa Blood Donation drive ng Batangas Province. (PIO Batangas City)
