Scholarship Program

Believing that education is a key to a bright future, financial assistance for tuition fees and books is given to poor but deserving college students in public and private schools and those enrolled in vocational or technical courses at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority. Transportation allowances are given as incentives to students who graduated valedictorian and salutatorian in elementary.

Free college education is a dream come true for those who have no financial capability but have the brains to finish their education, an objective which this school is committed to attain. It offers courses like Business Administration, Education and Information Technology. The students also enjoy the comfort of air conditioned rooms.

Agricultural Programs

Yellow Corn Sufficiency Program is one of the many agricultural programs of Batangas City. This program not only provides livelihood to farmers but also aims to attain self-sufficiency in corn production since yellow corn is the main ingredients in the production of animal feeds. Batangas City is reputed to be the only local government unit in the region which gives subsidy to farmers in the form of corn seeds and free use of farming equipment like tractors, corn dryers and corn shredders.

EBD Health Card Programs

Batangas City is now the leading LGUs in the country that implements this program which continues to help the poor to have access to free hospitalization. From an initial funding of P3million when the program was launched in 2004, the budget allocation grew to P60 million in 2009 with the card holders numbering 3,521 to date.

Infrastructures and Landmarks

A big slice of the city's budget goes to roads, bridges, school buildings, drainage and other infrastructure projects. On the other hand, the construction  of the 100-meter statue of Marian Shrine, brainchild of the "healing priest", Fr. Fernando Suarez in Montemaria Pagkilatan and founded by donors from all over the world, is expected to put Batangas City on the world Map as a pilgrimage destination.
