The Batangas City PNP presented the 12 members of the Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT ). The team headed by P/Insp Julius B. Almeda graduated from the two- month rigid training conducted by the Regional Training Unit PRO 4-A and Light Reaction Unit NCRPO.

 
The City Government of Batangas awarded Certificate of Recognition to the reigning Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas, Dana Denise Sabillo for winning the Mutya ng Batangas 2014, held on December 5, as part of the Ala Eh Festival, which was a celebration of the 433rd Founding Anniversary of the Batangas Province.

 
More than 90 high school students and teachers from public and private schools in Batangas City received recognition from the City Government for winning in the 12th Regional Science and Math Quest held on October 15, Tagaytay City, for Private Schools and October 22, 2014, Tanza Cavite for Public Schools.

City Engineer Adela Hernandez led the inspection of the Calumpang Footbridge this morning. She has some minor recommendations to be discussed and settled tomorrow by the Calumpang Task Force to ensure the stability of the footbridge and safety of the people before it opens to the public.
