About 1,327 college scholars of the EBD Scholarship Program receive their checks amounting to P3,000 as their allowance from Mayor Beverley Dimacuha, Congressman Marvey Mariño, VM Jun Berberabe and some city councilors during the distribution held, March 28 at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum. Each scholar is entitled to P8,000 scholarship grant wherein the P5,000 is directly deducted from their school tuition fees. There are more than 12,000 college and high school EBD scholars to date.
