Invitation to Bid for the supply & delivery of Various Medical, Dental & Laboratory Supplies for use of the City Health Office & Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas.

The Batangas City Government through the Office of the City Health & Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas intends to apply the sum of Php 226,185.14 being the Approved Budget for the Contract for BAC-PG-00179-10. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at Bid Opening.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary "pass/fail" criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act".
Bidding is open to all interested bidders, whether local or foreign, subject to the conditions for eligibility provided in the IRR of RA 9184.
Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the Batangas City Government and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount of Php 1,000.00 for the publication of supply & delivery of Various Medical, Dental & Laboratory Supplies for use of the City Health Office & Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas, payable to the Batangas City Treasurer's Cashier.
The Bidding Documents shall be received personally by the prospective bidders or his authorized representative.
Bids and eligibility requirements must be delivered to the address below on or before June 04, 2010 at 08:00 a.m.. Late Bids shall not be accepted. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in any of the following form:

Bid Opening shall be on June 04, 2010 at 08:30 a.m. at the Office of the General Services Officer, Batangas City. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidder's representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
The City Government of Batangas reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
